As part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign and at the invitation of Muwada Center, Al Tatweer Foundation participated by designing, delivering, and facilitating awareness sessions on the role of women in mitigating the impacts of climate change. This took place at the Muwada Center in Baba Amr, under the Child Care Association, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
In collaboration with Mada Agency (ARC) to enhance and improve the career path and support Al Tatweer Foundation, management consultant Mr. Hassan Al-Husseini provided a series of workshops on governance and its importance in improving institutional performance to the administrative staff of the Al Tatweer Foundation
The ECO-Team from Al Tatweer Foundation participated in the activities of the "Old Days" initiative launched by Bayti Foundation for Development. This initiative aims to preserve the popular heritage by highlighting traditional songs and games, as well as empowering team members to transfer what they learned to their respective organizations' activities. The events included an interactive workshop that introduced participating teams to the most important games from the old days and provided them with instructions for the games' festival. This was followed by a competition festival featuring traditional games, where participating teams competed individually and collectively on Wednesday, November 13, at the Jesuit Fathers' Monastery
Al Tatweer Foundation participated in the second edition of the LCOY SYRIA, which took place with the support of the UNFPA and in collaboration with SAND Development Foundation, Syrian Climate Pioneers Foundation, and PAR TEAM at Al-Jala Hall DUNES in Damascus on 13/8/2024. The foundation engaged in an interactive awareness activity about: linear economy, circular economy, and the principles of 9RS, to enhance awareness of the importance of applying these concepts in our daily lives.
9.0 Hz Frequency: When Change Begins with the Mindset In an era of accelerating institutional transformations, the "9.0 Hz Frequency" workshop came as an interactive training experience aimed at reshaping participants' mindsets. Its goal was to enhance analytical thinking, broaden their perspective toward a deeper understanding of administrative changes, and connect these transformations to daily practices—laying the groundwork for sustainable and effective change on both individual and collective levels. Why? Because change is not managed merely through policies and procedures—it begins with attitudes, mindsets, and the core values that drive work. Because we believe that institutional transformation starts from within—from the people themselves. And because achieving positive and adaptive change is the cornerstone of administrative sustainability and long-term organizational success. How? Through direct interaction, role-playing, simulations, and teamwork, participants were able to engage with real-world scenarios and analyze them practically. This was all within a non-traditional learning environment that broke the passive learning mold and fostered dynamic dialogue spaces.
Driven by our strong belief that good planning is the first step toward success in climate action, the workshop was held at the Foundation's headquarters in Homs, Bab Al-Sebaa neighborhood, starting from: 📆 Saturday, March 22 until Thursday, March 27. 🔹The workshop focused on the importance of understanding the context of the targeted area in terms of challenges and opportunities, to ensure the implementation of environmental initiatives that align with the needs of the local community and create a lasting impact. 🔹It was attended by 19 trainees who are active in community and environmental work in Homs, under the supervision of the distinguished trainer: 📌 Hussein Al Kassim
